Tinsman Road — Dir. Robbie Banfich

Tinsman Road, starring Robbie Banfitch, Leslie Ann Banfitch. Directed by Robbie Banfitch. Robbie Banfitch's follow-up to his 2022 debut delves more into a lo-fi, traditional found-footage genre, though the experience leaves much to be desired. 5.8, Now available on demand.

Tony — Dir. Matt Johnson

starring Dominic Sessa, Emilia Jones, Antonio Banderas. Directed by Matt Johnson. Matt Johnson and co. don't reinvent the wheel on Tony, but what they accomplish here feels expertly done. 8.5, in theaters now! released by A24. .

Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma - Dir. Jane Schoenbrun

starring Hannah Einbinder and Gillian Anderson. Directed by Jane Schoenbrun. Yet another dissection of niche genre fare and the strange people it creates, Schoenbrun's newest brings out the best from their last two, and boldly ventures into a more jokey, surrealist package. 8.4, now playing in select theaters! released by MUBI.

The Samurai and the Prisoner - Dir. Kiyoshi Kurosawa

starring Masahiro Motoki, Masaki Suda. Directed by Kiyoshi Kurosawa. Despite being a solid practice in traditional epic filmmaking, I advise to see this one ALONE, because it will bore your friends. 5.6, now playing in select theaters! released by Janus Films.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day - Dir. Destin Daniel Cretton

starring Tom Holland, Zendaya, John Bernthal On the new entry, the Holland-Spider-Man has never looked better, but the usual MCU exposition dumps prevent it from being another classic. 8.0, in theaters now! released by Marvel Studios.
